Opening with the fire-breathing, drum ‘n’ breaks bagpipe monster that is Wake The F*ck Up, Liam Prodigy lets us know exactly when the party’s starting, right now – and exactly what’s on the menu, through Josh Holme’s drug addled list of party ingredients. Not afraid to show his sensitive side, Liam includes the delicate and pure Jolene from the legend that is Dolly Parton! Max Romeo’s ‘I Chase The Devil’ had to feature and is a fine tribute… as is the ever influential Pistols in the form of Lydon’s P.I.L ‘Rise’. It looks like a Prodigy party isn’t all about the classics either… Vatican DC get a spin with their Nu-Punk teeth fully gnarled! Wooo allright… back to the old school with Meat Beat Manifesto, stopping off down-town for some hip-hop ‘bombs’ from Method Man and N.O.R.E then rounding off the party with a retro Indie Disco – Stranglers and The Jam If only every house party had Liam Prodigy on the decks.
