If you’re new to Mood II Swing’s prime nineties output then you’re in for a real treat. If not, then this timely reminder of how Lem Springsteen and John Ciafone sculpted classy, soulful vocals around pumping rhythms, while retaining the essence of House and its roots in Disco will, no doubt, be equally welcome. Their music always existed on that certain edge which give it an irresistible funk coupled with a not so smooth production style the music retains its very much relevant today feel. The remix list follows like a who’s who from Nuyorican Soul straight through to BT and Kim English, alongside their own artist releases spread across three invaluable discs.
