Setting the controls for the heart of the sun is Jori Hulkkonen under his risk embracing Nuclear Winter Garden alias. Emotionally charged music of this caliber is always hard to ignore and in this case this album carves a deeply rich niche of cinematic proportions exploring everything from eastern influences on ‘Some of You Might Survive’ through to the hotwired electronics of ‘Strangest Positions’. Never wasting a single moment or space in the arrangement the music careers across boundaries with ease. At times disturbing your senses, while at others enveloping them with musical warmth such as on ‘Baryonic Truth’. Vocals float around the picture though never seem to amount to a total song and simply compliment the cascade of sounds emanating in glorious stereo.
