The return of the top ranking Dap-Dapping real deal; Jones continues to put in and pour out heart & soul while the mass ranked Kings get their groove back on, this time with slower-handed blues, save for the odd flurry, following their previous shake rattle and roll. Satisfyingly respectful values putting today’s R&B saucepots to shame classily endorse gentlemanly sentiments across ‘Natural Born Lover’ and ‘My Man’s a Mean Man’, and a great collaboration with Lee Fields adds another side to the story when ‘Stranded in Your Love’. The Kings keep the crown on this one.
