Unbelievably, Richard Dorfmeister’s Tosca collaboration with Rupert Huber has been going for eleven years, and spawned no fewer than six albums. ‘Jac’ ranks up there with the best of them, for it does down tempo bliss just as well as cool, chilled four to the floor groovers. ‘Damentag’ shows their ability to inject some hip swinging funk to proceedings, while guests Samia Farah and Stephan Graf Hadik add sublime vocal contributions. An easy going album with plenty to recommend it, handsomely bound for good measure.
