Digital-only debut from Richard Wigglesworth who, in time-honoured wacky-tech style as pioneered on Planet Mu and such, has sought to recreate the time of Henry VIII aboard his trusty 303. There is much acid chattering and obviously his time machine made a pitstop in 90s Detroit. At times it’s uncanny how he conjures image of obesity, chicken-related flatulence, polygamy and execution, but this is an album of many moods and worth checking for those after something frivolous and unusual in electronic music.
