The fast-rising Clash-homaging breaks label busts out again with founder Carl Loben and Bill ‘Zero B’ Borez unleashing a percussive monster which manages to fuse Brazilian batacuda beats to state-of-the-party breaks whoopee. Party sounds and whistles proliferate as the beatsvare splattered with bongo fury and all manner of drum action [and iI’msure that’s a dash of ESG’s ‘UFO’ in there]. Unadulterated mayhem all round. The remix comes courtesy of Plaza De Funk, who takes the tune on a different tip altogether with soul revue bassline, funk brass wedges and climactic acid attacks making for another kind of party detonation. A surefire Christmas cracker.
