Benefiting from a new DJ friendly arrangement, the second single off General Midi’s ‘Midi Style’ album is a catchy affair. Chunky beats, 303s and a solid vocal courtesy of MC Jakes create a bouncy mix that’s driving yet engaging. DJ Icey, long time stalwart of the Florida breakbeat scene, uses pretty much the same elements and ends up with something different.
