‘Entertainer’, which featured MC Jakes with the ‘General’, was a huge favourite of ours a while back, and, once again, this pairing doesn’t fail to satisfy. The Breakspoll nominated album version has been given the ‘General Midi’ dancefloor tweak; big, chunky solid, tough, driving breaks – with a definite good- time party feel and a euphoric climax. MC Jakes rides the rhythm with his smooth brand of MCing/singing.. If this doesn’t get bums a wigglin’ on the floors up and down the nation, well we just don’t know what the world’s coming to.DJ Icey adds plenty of sub action to the remix, (always a good thing), and there’s a nice addition with the faithful old bouncey pipes.
