A veritable monster of a record roars in on JH2 and Chris Carter’s label. After the snappy groove’s been joined by nasty riff and its cheeky electro counterpart it’s like someone’s turned on the Frankenstein’s lab type machinery and the breaks go radioactive. All this is topped by a barrage of monster movie howls and Godzillaesque roars, eventually bringing in the ‘Watch the skies’ monologue so popular in thge early 90s with the Orb. The flip’s ‘Jerky Turkey’ is moodier and hallucinogenic with more serious bloke narrative. This stands out cos it’s completely mad and deadly for the floor in the bargain.
