SKEEWIFF
RETROPOLITAN EP
JALAPENO

Retropolitan sums up the Skeewiff boys perfectly – slyly twisting retro hipsters who know how to mix a good cosmopolitan cocktail when the need arises!   “Little Spot Of Soul” whispers the name that dare not be spoken in polite circles (big beat), but with the Skeewiff panache in the mix, it comes off as an old-school sample heavy breakster with plenty of attitude.  “The Adventures Of Cutman” goes off the beaten track for some oddball sounds. “Triumph Stag” showcases the Hammond organ of the legendary Alan Hawkshaw – he of The Mohawks and KPM fame – for a storming breaks rinse-out, a real cross-over track if the right people pick up on it.  Lastly, “Ruby’s Revenge” harks back to the days of acid jazz for a fantastic psych sitar freakout.  Primed and ready to rock your party, cocktails optional.
