Bristol trio Stereo 8 have not been the most prolific of groups since their ‘Groove Diggin” debut a few years back. On ‘Stamina’, MC and lyricist Jakes – currently heard with TC on ‘Deep’ – gives it some over ravey acid breaks whoopee topped with whooshy noises. ‘Never Coming Back’ ropes in Sweden’s A.C. Henderson to vocalise over a sparser, bass-dominated wobbler which has the right ingredients to hook large gatherings.
