Stone Lions is the first solo project from producer Damian Taylor, who is currently working alongside Adam Freeland, so even before the needle hits the groove, you know it’s gonna be quality. ‘Snow Over Arizona’ has got a certain psychedelic Sabres Of Paradise, Death In Vegas, Chemical Brothers feel, building on pulsing synths, guitar licks & power chords, topped off with spooky layered Hammer Horror vamp vocals, all riding a cracking groove. ‘Snow Over Arizona’ is one helluva debut, making Stone Lions a name to definitely look out for.
