Adrift Records are keeping very tight lipped about the identity of The Company, all they will say is they are a well established act. So on to the tune then. The original version of ‘The Reaper’ has got an electro glam Goldfrapp feel, complete with guitar hooks & double handclaps. There’s also club & dub mixes, which are in a house vein, losing the guitars, but gaining twisted bleeps & tribal drums. The icing on the cake though is the Koma & Bones remix, which has got illegal rave stamped all over it, as the runaway bass pulses & writhes over rolling breaks, making you twitch & judder with irrational spasmodic moves, whilst the whole place erupts around you. Breathtaking.
