Cloak ‘n’ dagger business afoot for the first release on Broke Recordings’ new sister label. Three well-known acts team up for ‘Karma’, a widescreen ode to the herb which is peppered with suitable mad noises and dub efx as the gentleman bellows the name of his main inspiration. The flip features an item called Quick Fix by someone calling themselves Titchmarsh & Dimmock. This is obviously not the ‘Ground Force’ duo as it doesn’t feature the sound of James Blunt’s arse being irrigated by a rampant gnome. There is, however, a swarm of hardcore bee riffs locking themselves to the genitals of an urgent groove the blurb calls ‘trance-step’. More undercover culprits at work here. Come forward, you cowards, you deserve a prize.
