Next release on new label, Westway, sees velour-free, non-brothers, the Velours Brothers slap down some bass guitar led neon lit electro style songsmithery! Very much in the Zoot Woman, Jaques Lu Cont school of pounding 4/4 drums underpinned by sexy live bass, this is one of those bordering on electro-clash tracks that is far better than being lumped in with most of that genre. There’s also a much tougher breaksy version that really is the winner here and should find it’s way onto many a floor. Go buy, play and then dance.
