Audacious bootyism still runs rife and gets continually more imaginative, although this one had to happen. Here the ultra-hot Young Punx take on Lemmy and Motorhead at full throttle on ‘Ace Of Spades’ – bass riff, vocals and all. They probably don’t know that this Christmas sees the original celebrating its silver jubilee. The familiar sound of Motorhead at their glorious peak is tweaked and mutated over a scuttling bed of breaks to provenly floor-demolishing effect, which usually includes aching sides. The flip sees one Pussy De’Lix funking it up on ‘Streetdance’, which tackles another standard – this time by Lionel Richie or Bryan Adams or someone.
