The only channel worth checking for unabridged urban understanding, despite volume two kicking off with Lethal B’s U-in-snapshot ‘Pow’, and then presenting an unbalanced hip-hop/R&B focus that might restore Base subscribers pride. Ragga rugrat Lady Sovereign demands quiet, The Streets employs new housemates, Zena, Mark Morrison and Jay Sean rep the smooth end, and J Gambles, Young Pro & Choong Family hustle from bottom-to-top, below the radar. The videos DVD is the truer U essence, all concerned getting airtime on a now flagship brand name that still has work to do on the compilation front.
