The gratuitously grandiose title unlocks a clutch of clandestine, on-edge European and State-side artists who sleep with one eye open and work best on the DL under a full moon. Without intending to be a compilation that puts the frighteners on ears, the lights are best left on for Mnemotrauma forming ‘Waiting for the Sun’, the ditch-digger¹s call-to-arms, and the minimalist provoker ‘Alpha Centauri’. Danny DeCock¹s solemn ‘GkS’ bombasts drums into spewing out bee swarms, remaining seething without exploding on ‘We Will Come Back’. And with Emynd and Echelon¹s bloodshot electronic pursuits, this is cause for gold stars all round.
