Several years back he went ‘back to the scene of the crime’ for NRK, and now Joey Negro’s back in the box, shedding what might be classed his trademark vocal style for something altogether more old school – and in some cases more rave-based. LFO, Bam Bam and Gisele Jackson push out a classic or three, but when Joey moves towards classic house the party gets into full swing, thanks to Mood II Swing’s ‘All Night Long’ and Danny Tenaglia’s remix of Daphne’s ‘When U Love Someone’. This bodes well for what should be an entertaining series, with an unmixed CD to help out the DJs.
