Celebrating its sixth year the acclaimed club night and mix series continues its quest for all things soulful with this latest edition featuring the undeniable talents of Kerri Chandler and Dennis Ferrer. CD one opens with Kerri’s trademark deep, pulsing rhythms from the likes of Rodamaal ‘Insomnia’ and ends up with the choice vocals of Jon Cutler and Michael Watford’s ‘Watcha Gonna Do’. Of course as is the way with his DJ’ing it doesn’t just exist on one level and keeps your interest by the inclusion of various styles ranging from soulful songs to tough dubs. Dennis Ferrer begins his mix with Knee Deep’s sublime ‘Take Me By The Hand’ and then gets seriously twisted via a selection of Deeper productions by Manoo and Ame. Like wise as with Kerri Chandler he also mixes from vocals to instrumentals to keep you fully engaged. Never a dull moment.
