‘Back To Love’ is one of the stronger Hed Kandi brands, and this triple header is a no-brainer if you haven’t got many of the tracks on it. Even if you have the combination of anthems could well prove irresistible, providing you get past the usual house fodder of Rhythm On The Loose, Robin S and Alison Limerick. Behind these are the superb ‘Kickin In The Beat’ by Pamela Fernandez, Mother’s ‘All Funked Up’ and the South Street Players’ ‘Who Keeps Changing Your Mind’. Lying in wait on CD3 is a very serviceable set of hip hop influenced stuff, Rob Base, Young MC and A Tribe Called Quest coming together. Excellent value – and nicely balanced.
