What we’ve got here is a 48 minute mix of DFA material, featuring the never released before, very deep Rub’N’Tug mix of LCD Sound ssystem’s’Too Much Love’, alongside The Juan Maclean, Black Dice and more LCD Soundsystem cuts, getting twisted, stretched and pinged by the likes of Soulwax, Cajmere and Tiga amongst others, all lovingly put together by Tim Goldsworthy & Tim Sweeney. The Holiday Mix 2005 is also an anorak’s delight, I can just imagine them rustling away in anticipation, of getting their sweaty little mitts on a copy, because it’s gonna be in the shops from Oct 24th until January 2006 only, then it will be deleted. The other bonus is that it retails for the price of a CD single. Be careful in that crush now.
