At first this seems like a strangely introverted selection of minimal house from Tiefschwarz, as electro flavoured, bass driven cuts merge into each other with four to the floor beats. And yet it works well, with Claude Vonstroke’s deep ‘Whose Afraid of Detroit’, the ethereal Sleeper Thief cut ‘Freefall’ and a sudden injection of power for the duo’s remix of Depeche Mode’s ‘John The Revelator’. It’s then you suddenly realise the whole mix has been gradually growing from the start, and is revealed to be an impressive piece of work after all. Fans will definitely enjoy.
