Steve Bug’s Fabric mix moves smoothly through the gears in its opening twenty minutes, building up an impressively solid overall beat and slipping between tracks effortlessly. Tech house is probably the most accurate description for Bug’s stance, though things get smoother and deeper as the mix moves on. Peace Division, Ben Westbeech via the Wahoo mixing desk, Phonique and a closing double from Rejected and Gui.tar all combine to produce a taut CD with no flab and plenty of groovability; one of Fabric’s best house mixes on offer for some time.
