It’s been a little while since Freerange added another colour to their ever growing spectrum, but now there’s a fetching shade of spring green bringing on another quality selection of house, deep or otherwise. A couple of older successes get a reworking, with Solid Groove doing Black Joy’s ‘Untitled’ and Spiritcatcher remixing Kirk Degiorgio/Esoterik’s ‘Starchaser’, but it’s the excellent breakdown of Mongly’s ‘Bright’ and the funky piano-led Fred Everything/JJ Donaldson track ‘Stop’ that emerge as favourites. Great stuff from a label that continues to deliver the goods.
