GU29: DUBAI MIXED BY SHARAM
GLOBAL UNDERGROUND

Deep Dish haven’t split, they’re just taking a bit of a breather to concentrate on solo projects – and already that decision reaps rewards. Sharam’s first CD in the latest Global Underground venue is pure class – moody, atmospheric house music that moves the soul as well as the feet. Felix Da Housecat’s remix of the Syntax track ‘Bliss’ embodies this approach, but to go with it you can take your pick from Jiva, 16 Bit Lolitas and Crime Mobb. The second CD goes up a notch tempo-wise, and once finding its feet delivers more upfront club cuts from Pete Heller, Nicholas Bacher and a closing stormer from the ever reliable Planet Funk. After this pair of crackers there’s a dilemma – do we want them to stay solo or together? With any luck they’ll do both…
