Tiesto’s search continues into the small hours, with another pair of mixes that are distinctively his, though in the case of CD1 take a while to get going. Once motoring though this is a good blend of the familiar breathy vocals and tougher drumbeats, with the string motif to Allure & Julie Thompson’s ‘Somewhere Inside of Me’ making a strong impact. CD2 gets to the heart of the matter much more impressively, with tougher cuts like Arguru’s ‘Deadmaus’ blending with spacious breakdowns from Falling, while Tiesto’s own remixes bring some mettle to the beats. Pretty much as you’d expect from Holland’s premier trancer – but that means it holds up well.
