Azuli have made us wait for this – it’s almost a year since the Flaming Lips had us round for tea – but it’s been worth the toil, as Belle & Sebastian continue the time honoured tradition for choice blends, familiar and unfamiliar. This means the door opens to just about anything, whether that be the Ethiopians, Mum, Johnny Cash or the Paperclip People, with the great man himself, J S Bach, making a surprise appearance at the end with the extremely mellow ‘Badinerie’. A lot to take in for just over an hour, but you’ll keep coming back for more – believe me, this is money well spent, a compilation that will introduce you to a lot of new sounds.
