Kenneth Bager can be relied upon to give an eclectic account of himself, and his choice of music on the fifth ‘Luftkastellet’ doesn’t disappoint. Whether it’s the slow disco of the Reverse 69 remix of Badly Drawn Boy’s ‘Promises’, the 303-driven groove of Carl Craig’s take on Delia Gonzales’ ‘Relevee’ or the glacial house of Francois K remixing Coldplay’s ‘Talk’, there really does seem to be something for everyone. And yet it all hangs together, with well chosen home fare from DJ Disse and Bager himself – Disse somehow sampling Jim Morrison without overdoing it on the cheese.
