The first in the ‘My Definition’ series is billed as ‘the definitive Nightmares on Wax soundscape’, and looks at their influences and loves while clearly compiled with the home listener in mind. Being Nightmares on Wax this means a heady brew of soulful grooves and hip hop, with jazz and dub flavourings added as required. Paris’ ‘I Choose You’ makes for a gushy opener, but once settled down the mix throws up some really good rap tracks from Camp Lo, Blade and the Nextmen.
