Sister label to Get Physical, Poesie Musik, releases a four track ep of quality remixes to delight your ears and stimulate your senses. Niklas Ibach takes Junge Junge’s folk house reverie ‘Beautiful Girl’ to create a bass heavy, reverse looped groover. My personal favourite, Ferdinand Dreyssig and Marvin Hey’s remix of Fabio Giannelli’s ‘Cherish’ is a tech house terror so tasty that it would make a wolf’s fangs shimmer and glint in the moonlight. You want to take as many chunks out of it as it takes out of you. Solee’s ‘Perception’ featuring Daniela Volpicelli is a haunting, soulful vocal with string orchestration, rolling glockenspiel keys and zipped synth effects for good measure. Lastly, Hacker and Meithig’s ‘Obeah’ slathers you with heavy synthesized oils before giving you a deep, aural, Jaydee reminiscent tech house massage. Blissful.
