Keeping the format of last year’s inaugural Therapy session, Renaissance hand the CD2 guest slot to Melbourne’s Luke Chable, a rising star and still only 25 years young. His set of breaks goes for the jugular, with Uberzone’s ‘2Kool4Skool’ and ‘Moondusted’ big boned tunes. It’s an aggressive mix, much more so than Dave Seaman, who seems to have mellowed slightly for this mix of cool house. Including recent anthems from Silicone Soul and Tears For Fears, he also characteristically plucks a few gems from the underground in DJ19 and Stel. The two mixes make a good pair, proving opposites really do attract.
