Nicolas Masasyeff grabs you firmly with his swirling take on Nikola Gala’s ‘The Trap’ . The Glitz exploit and filter the piano groove in Kolombo and Oliver Klein’s ‘No One’ to excellent effect. And to close the package Lee Van Dowski and Dean Demanuele sexually heal Aki Bergen, Djuma Soundsystem and Lazarusman’s ‘Love HerMadly’ with its ticklish hard, humping beat and rather naughty, dry, vocodered vocal. The aim of this project is to refresh the parts of the Noir Music back catalogue that no one yet has had chance of reaching and certainly this first foray shows great promise.
