The late summer selection from one of my favoured labels is packed full of surprises reinforcing once again the sheer strength of their output. Each track is a gem of sorts with the music touching on many different bases so it’s always an exciting listen to hear what they’ve come up with next. This time, its artists including: BLUD (who’s stunning opener ‘Memories’ transcends emotion), My Favorite Robot, and Tone of Arc who are in amongst the calibre of company we are talking about. Music ranges from Clayton Steele’s spine-tingling ‘Lost Sometimes’ to the electrifying guitar and smokey vocals of Eric Volta feat. Gaika ‘The Very End of Your Days’, with the added drama of Kenny Glasgow’s electro-funk edged, ‘Sickness’ to finish off.
