Before you groan inwardly, The Weekend is actually a pretty sound triple pack of the latest dance music across the board, its ‘Bar – Club – Morning After’ routine a tad predictable but allowing it to snare some good and less well known mixes. That means for every Bodyrockers, Michael Gray and Freeloaders you get Ben Watt’s sublime remix of Zero 7’s ‘Home’, 4 Hero’s ‘Les Fleurs’ and Mylo remixes of Sia and The Killers. The ‘club’ set speeds up a couple of tunes too much – Todd Terry especially suffers – but as commercial dance compilations go, this is good enough.
