Bobby M and Kevin Griffiths’ Issst showcase is a well-paced selection of electro house, mixed to perfection. There’s minimal fuss here – electro-fuelled bass lines and jacking beats make for a consistently danceable set, which starts to come into its own with upfront tracks such as Spencer Parker’s ‘Neon’, the acidic ‘Change Works’ from Oxia and Radio Slave’s biting ‘Secret Base’. Silversurfer’s excellent ‘Ace of Spades’ steals the honours for the compilation’s best track, but in truth the whole mix is the winner.
