Tough, chunky house is the order of the day through these two CDs.
Occasionally the mixing seems a bit drawn out and could move from one track
to the next a bit quicker, but the track choices are good. Layo & Bushwacka,
Alexkid, Claude Von Stroke and Carl Craig (his Siobhan Donaghy remix) light
up CD1, while the second takes longer to get up and running before driving
forward with Joris Voorn’s ‘MPX309’, Dubfire’s remix of Nic Fanciulli’s
‘Lucky Heather’ and, to finish, a masterly blend of Yousef’s ‘Spooky’ and
Quentin Harris’ ‘U Don’t Know Me’. Not half bad after all, then.
