“Dark Was The Night” is a 31 track compilation made for The Red Hot Organization, an international HIV/AIDS charity. I’m not gonna pick out tracks, there’s far too many to mention, but here’s some of the artists featured, David Byrne, Yo La Tengo, Arcade Fire, Jose Gonzalez, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Feist, The National, My Morning Jacket, Buck 65 and Spoon. The list goes on. “Dark Was The Night” is overflowing with talent and soaked in dusty Americana style, plus all proceeds go to a worthy cause. It comes in nicely packaged double CD and triple vinyl, now get your hand in your pocket and treat yourself. You won’t be disappointed and it’ll make you feel good.
