For drum and bass adrenalin highs, look no further than this totally thrilling pair of mixes. London Elektricity in particular is flung headlong into a pile of records, taking sizeable hits from David Guetta, Wiley and the Prodigy to bolster his arsenal. Unusually his mix isn’t fast the whole way through, but has a fiercesome cumulative energy. High Contrast also offers a big rush of beats and vocals, with Empire Of The Sun (remixed by Sub Focus) and Chris S.U. in particular hitting the heights, while an excellent breakdown moves through Nu:Tone’s ‘Battle Theme’ to 8 Bits’ ‘On Your Mind’, before MRSA powers forward with a rocky edge. Two excellent mixes from South London.
