Mash Up Mix Old Skool (Mixed By The Cut Up Boys)
Ministry Of Sound

The Cut Up Boys are back with a vengeance; reviving Old Skool anthems for there latest CD. Matt Brookes and Nick Barnes AKA The Cut Up Boys need little introduction – this dance duo worked they’re way up through their radio one rankings. Cementing their title as masters of the marathon remix. The latest instalment Mash Up Mix Old Skool unleashes hits from the late 80’s through to the mid 90’s on a new generation.  CD 1 is a relentless medley of solid Old Skool house, taking you back through Robyn S ‘Show Me Love’ mixed with Jinny ‘Keep Warm’ and Club Junkies ft Kid House ‘Two can play that game’ vs Last Rhythm. Nomad’s classic ‘Devotion’ also gets mashed alongside FPI Projects ‘Rich In Paradise.’ Of course NO monster Mash, (especially one of the Old School variety) would be complete without D.O.N.S ‘Pump Up The Jam’ vs Jaydee ‘Plastic Dreams’ or Liquid ‘Sweet Harmony’ with Loletta Holloway’s ‘Love Sensation’! CD 2, delivers the best of the tranceier side of Old Skool mixing trios like DJ Phantasia’s ‘Inner Light’ and Jam and Spoon’s ‘Stella’ with ‘Forgetta’s ‘Music Is Movin.’ Rave’s also brought back (whistle’s at the ready) by way of Snap ‘Rhythm Is A Dancer’ vs Cubic 22 ‘Night In Motion’ and The Prodigy ‘Outta Space’ vs 49ers ‘Move Your Feet’ and Altem-8’s ‘ Activ-8’. Fear not, what kind of blast from the past would be if it didn’t reflect on all that was Old Skool Garage? Ratpack’s ‘Searchin’ For My Rizzla’ and Smart E’s ‘Sesame’s Treat’ vs DJ Pied Piper ‘Do You really Like It’ are all inclusive.
