There’s something very satisfying in making a discovery of a high quality underground compilation, and this one from the Flux Delux delivers extremely solid trance music. Le Saux keeps things moving, setting a nifty BPM throughout, but the high points come with Matt Hardwick’s ‘I Am DJ’, remixed by Ben Gold, the Activa tracks ‘This World’ and ‘Affirmation’ and other quality material from Frase, Vicky Devine and Kane Nelson. It’s all very well mixed, and geared towards the heights of the end and Tiddley’s ‘Taylla’, which completes a largely cheese-free excursion into deep and very uplifting trance music. Fans of Anjunabeats should definitely snap this little beauty up.
