Straight off the back of the well received ‘The World As I See It’ album, Dennis Ferrer gets in the house with two sets of percussive house on the Defected decks. Whether in full-on party mode (Byron Stingily), house updates of soulful originals (two excellent Ben Westbeech tracks interpreted by Yoruba Soul and Karizma) or sultry house with a ‘warm country’ feel (Kiko Navarro, Osunlade), Ferrer keeps a firm hand on the tiller and delivers music that’s sure to brighten anyone’s day – or night.
