Hybrid have put together this well-thought compilation, bringing together choice soundtrack cuts on the down tempo first mix, before offering up the breaks/house combination they do so well on the second. Highlights of the big screen include Massive Attack’s ‘Sweet Is Good’ (from ‘Danny The Dog’), John Murphy’s writing for ’28 Days Later’ and Vector Lovers’ ‘Last Days Of Winter’. Hybrid themselves provide the pick of the second disc, with their dub of Longrange’s ‘Just One More’ particularly powerful, before ‘Formula Of Fear’ and the Harry Gregson Williams collaboration ‘$50 Pistol’ sweep up toward the end. Fans will recognise the Hybrid imprint throughout, while newcomers will discover a moody yet deep and chilled two hours of music.
