Moodmusic boss Klas ‘Sasse’ Lindblad has got together with Berlin’s Starstyling Worldwide fashion company, launching the first in a series showcasing music used at their events. This first was compiled for their ‘HokusFokus’ show at Berlin Fashion Week, featuring unreleased and edits of recent Moodmusic tackle by names including Kiki, Dirt crew, FilippoMoscatello, Tigerskin, Lil Tony, Nick Chacona, Stel, Penner+Muder and Sasse himself, all beautifully mixed into a deeply resonant, pulsing dream sequence nodding at strains like space disco, aquatic techno and mole-stiffie house, punctuated by effective touches like the windswept udders squirting acid drop magic on Dave DK’s vaguely Phuture-esque ‘Cinema Paradiso’.
