Good-natured 80’s obsessed pop that makes all the right moves and sounds to keep an undemanding dancefloor busy for a couple of minutes. Flip it over, though, and Juan Maclean gives ‘Me & My Man’ a tidy rub, retuning it into a moody (p)funked-up groover that develops it’s mood and pace very slowly, highlighting nice percussion and lovely Easterninfluenced synth work. Dark and satisfying, as it should be.
