Piek – Hemingway – Fiakun

The second release from the Spanish imprint may or may not be an ode to great man of words, Ernest but either way this unique sounding production crosses all the T’s and dots all the I’s quite literally. First off is the original with Samuel Fitch’s story like vocal lending it a sassy, soulful feel as the music criss-crosses Disco and Balearic boundaries effortlessly. The M.V.I.P. remix, or otherwise known as, Mathias Vogt and Ian Pooley then proceed to give the title a techier sheen with taut bass combined alongside cowbell rhythms and piercing strings.
