Sascha Braemer’s latest for Mobilee Record’s sister imprint does everything you expect from the label and then hits you with plenty more. ‘Midday Garden’ serves it up hot and heavy via repeating and thoroughly delicious percussion, probing bass, melodic hints of synth and occasional gritty stabs to colour the arrangement. Contrasted by, ‘Midday Garden’ which not surprisingly feels a shade lighter with a funkier bassline in evidence alongside rolling snares and pulsating electronics for illumination.
