Superb release from Edu Imbernon’s Eklektisch label who neatly blend together three great versions for your delectation. Starting with the remix from Blond-ish whose dark centre comes complete with atmospheric keys and shimmering, breathy vocals this tension inducing arrangement fizzes with a delicious moody energy. Next, and in many people’s opinion one of the producers of the year, is Hot Since 82 with a percussion fuelled production that highlights the vocal, while pursuing the sense of melancholy melody armed with a perfect choice of notes. Last, and not least, is the take from Viadrina who adds a bouncier bassline and groove to the rhythm on what is another great accompaniment to the voice.
