The charming trio Kitty, Daisy & Lewis have spent this year getting people to fall under their 50s-influenced spell, and if you’re not captivated by this lovely Christmassy track then you’ll never get them. The production is great, sparkling round the edges, and the winsome melody has elements of Rose Murphy’s 1950 classic ‘Busy Line’, set to a bouncy beat. B-side ‘Buggin’ Blues’ is no less appealing, recorded using that ‘old style’ technique, given a nice muffle. Cosy sounds for Christmas, these – well worth acquiring.
